Where to view Mt Ossa?

Postby Ambience » Fri 14 Nov, 2014 10:29 pm

Is there anywhere, relatively easy to get to by car and short walk, to view Mt Ossa? My father has said Donaghy's lookout, but that's only really a view of Frenchman's Cap yeah? Would love to see Ossa again.
Cheshire Cat: Only a few find the way, some don't recognise it when they do - some... don't ever want to.

Hi Ambience,
You can see Mt Ossa on a fine day from the United Service Station at Sassafras, stands out when it is covered with snow, Devils Gullett on the Lake Mackenzie Road would be my choice, 1hr from Ulverstone, also from the Anthony Rd on the West Coast.
