This is likely old news to some but this is pretty amazing! Even so, i'm sure i'm not the only one more fascinated with the darkness :)

Nice, thanks for sharing.

It's nice to be reminded how utterly small and insignificant we are in the scheme of things. It always helps to restore a sense of wonder.

For what it's worth if you enjoy this kind of thing I recommend checking out the new Cosmos series with Neil DeGrasse Tyson.

A bit of a late post here...

but I have Starry Night Pro Plus 6 PC planetarium software running the same type of fly through scenario.

Here is a picture of home from orbit in the program.
