Bushcraft (Among Other Things)

While not solely dedicated to bushcrafting, there are a few good resource books on Archive (also linked in this post) regarding how to make a lot of things from scratch. The first one is What To Do and How To Do It: The American Boys Handy Book. While dated (published in 1920), there is a lot of good and fun information in there for hunting, traps, shelters and even boats you can build yourself. Maybe more novelty then anything, still good reference and has plenty of models and drawings depicting the work. The second is The Outdoor Handy Book, published back in 1914. A little less focused on bush/camping activities there is still some good info in there as well. Should be noted, it serves more as a complimentary guide to previous issues of American Boys Handy Book. As the files are too large to attach, the links are listed below for your viewing or downloading pleasure!

On an aside from that, has anyone here constructed their own stuff in the bush before? I remember building little cabins using fallen timber and such as a kid, improvised shelters and that sort. It'd be fun I think to actually make some of the stuff from these books (mainly the boat/raft) and see how they actually stand up.
