Nik had similar problems, have you tried asking him what he did to fix it?

Hi All

Thanks for your patience on this. The solution has taken longer then I expected.
I have had a new bit of code written that stores all edits in our database. So I am happy we can deal with the rare problems we had in the past.
Sorry if this impacted you enjoying the forum in the meantime.

I have now increase the edit time to 7 days. Happy to increase it further if needed.
(the issue making it too long - is that it makes it difficult for people to follow the conversations with significant edits made after the conversation ends)

Good one Matt however the preview feature is still a good way to correct errors in your posts IMHO.

Hi Corvus
I agree that we should all preview our post before submit. But times do popup where we need to go back and edit. Eg with the where-am-I game. So I wanted to make that easier for people.
