Problem with "Subscribe Topic"

Problem: I wanted to be subscribed to one of my threads, so I looked at the bottom and there was a tick against "Subscribe Topic". I assumed that the originator of a thread was automatically subscribed to that thread. Not so. I received no notifications.

A few days later I got around to clicking on the name "Subscribe Topic" and when I checked, I was now subscribed.

Suggestion: There should not be a tick next to "Subscribe Topic" before a user is actually subscribed. It gives the impression you are subscribed when you may not be.

It might have been a temporary glitch guy as it usually works automatically when you create a new thread.
