Are there the options to see new posts and unread posts like on the desktop version? And if so where do i find them?

Ive used it before and wasnt that impressed and just got a new phone and if i can avoid getting tapatalk again i will.

You can if you are logged in. There are 2 'buttons' in the top right hand corner. If you press the one that looks like a magnifying glass it will come up with the options you're looking for.

I find it easier to use the desktop version on my mobile.
