Uploading photos to this site

So far I have been using Photobucket.
A few days ago they changed from FREE to a $399 per year fee to be able to link to external sites, like this one.

What do you use ?

I upload from files on my PC. No need for Photobucket or similar.

Similar position as Photobucket was a great service. I wonder how Flickr would work for this purpose these days.

Flickr terms and conditions require you to link to the Flickr page that contains the image, and not to link directly to the image.

As MickyB says, you can directly upload photos to this site, and it works very well (even though the multi-step process may not be intuitive the first few times). No cost, no hassles.

I think it's all good to upload photos to this site and I appreciate the facilities being provided. But it sure is a load on this site's storage and potential cost. I feel it's a more efficient arrangement when these media files are stored elsewhere and not be duplicated. Of course the other angle is our present situation where photos posted in the past are preserved.
