Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

[Fs Ncle NSW Aus Post] Lanshan 2 tent

Postby Ms_Mudd » Sun 16 Jun, 2019 8:53 pm

I will preface this listing saying I love this tent. I have to'ed and fro'ed on it's sale, but my husband and I have been doing some ruthless decluttering of our lives both metaphorically as well as materialistically and this tent is surplus to my needs now. I have purchased an X-Mid and my eldest son is off to the ADF. I have larger tents than this one for if my younger kids come out with me, but this tent has accommodated my smaller offspring and I comfortably enough.

Lanshan 2. White/Pale Grey colour
Seam sealed in the well known sewn through spots after purchase.
In excellent condition, well looked after.
I have modded the guy line to the peak and doors and added black shock cord to facilitate easier opening and closing of the vestibule doors when pitched nicely under tension. There is also an extra peg out point for the doors to the peak guyline. In my experience, this allows for a better pitch but you will need an additional 2x pegs. You could make them one peg out point again easily enough though if you wanted.

$120 including postage within Australia

What's the weight of the fly by itself?

Not sure, heading out tonight with it, so will seperate and weigh tomorrow when I am unpacking if I have time

Edited to add: Just looked it up and it is one of these two weights as taken from 3F UL gear website, one being for the fly, one for the inner. I can't unfortunately read Mandarin, so can't tell you which one it is, but my money for the fly weight would be 556g.

447g
556g

I just did a cut and paste from a trailspace review which would back this weight up, as the reviewer has broken down and weighed the components themselves. Their total weight is what I got with my tent also, so I would think this is accurate and hopefully negates my needing to disconnect the inner from the fly to weigh and then reattach? Let me know if you would still like me to do this though and I will.

Cut and paste from https://www.trailspace.com/gear/3f-gear/lanshan-2/

Weights on my scales..

Used stuff (a couple of outings):

Outer and 3 season inner tent in the stuff sack supplied (no pegs) - 1130g
Supplied pegs - 8x 10g
Supplied peg bag - 9g
Additional guys - 25g
3 season inner tent on its own (after some use) - 485g

Brand new extras I've bought but haven't taken out yet:

4 season inner tent (not in 10g mesh sack) - 465g ... Maybe I need to clean the other one!
Lanshan 2 silnylon footprint (not in 10g stuff sack) - 152g

Yes, in the past I have done this with listings, but it seems more recently when I do a listing, the edit function disappears from the original post, then will only sometimes appear in subsequent posts. This used to only be a problem if using my phone, with the edit function only being on desktop version...now nothing. I am technologically inept, but there is no longer the options appearing that used to be there. Weird.
