I've tried this manager didn't believe I was serious and wouldn't help
The problem seems to be that the empty drums are going with the used fat for recycling as bio-fuel and also most cooking oil is being bulk delivered by tanker these days or people are using cardboard containers for solid fats. I can get plenty of oil drums but the sealed top just makes things harder.
When I was cooking people were asking for these and I used to give them away because they were useful for planting tomatoes in etc, a lot of competition out there. We bought all our paint in 10 and 5 litre buckets, I wish now it had been the big ones. The lifting restrictions put in place for OH&S reasons are having unintended consequences, it is getting harder and harder to find LW 20 kilo drums around here.
10 litre buckets are skinny and won't allow the required 50mm of insulation needed
Ve are too soon old und too late schmart
