Hi
Looking for x2 tent poles (Easton or DAC) to use with Tarp Tent Notch LI
Length: 114cm
Fold: to 41cm or less
Shock corded
Pole diameter: approx 12.4 mm

About to do some bikepacking & my walking poles chunky (really pushed for space) & they weigh 400g+
Anyone got any lighweight poles of these specs roughly that they want to sell?
Thanks
Ruth

Remote Repairs in Melbourne will make up Easton poles. I don't think you can get DAC poles other than through the original manufacturers.

Gumtree? or garage sale/bin for broken poles maybe...

I scored an old one planet goondie 3 pole, made up a short tarp pole of two sections this arvo. Think its 9mm, prob not DAC.

Hi
Thanks for all those suggestions. Yep have been checking gumtree/ebay etc. Remote Repairs only stock Easton 8.5mm & 9mm & & Finn Industries doesn't have any 12.4mm pole stock either. Asco (Oz Easton supplier) is out of stock of 12.4mm straight pole sections & won't be getting more in. Not keen to risk light or cheap poles snapping & tearing Notch LI, so I either go overseas order import or go with Exped Adjustable Tarp Poles (which are in longer sections than will fit easily on bike & a bit heavier than I'd like).

Well I do have a set of Bulldog nesting poles but they don't shockcord together well. But they are compact although with all the mess here I'm not sure where they are stashed and I would have to find them and weigh them as I can't remember what they weigh. But if you really want light and strong think Carbon Fibre not aluminium
