Primus PT-1

Postby openspace » Fri 24 Nov, 2023 4:24 pm

I was given a Primus PT-1 a while back to add to my stove collection.

Works well but could do with some TLC.

I already have one and have enough to keep me occupied and would like to offer it to someone who wants a little project, rather than it sitting on a shelf.

Picture shows what was given to me and what I will forward.

PM if anyone would like it.

Helinox ground chair, seat fabric only. Is all black, has two very small holes +/- 1cm where your bum goes, from campfire sparks. Chair died and I have others. Offering this as a spare or replacement for your ground chair. Sorry can't get the photo attachment to work.

BTR stool. Was ok until the central joint let go. Pops back together but happened to me again. I weighed about 90kg, bought from a US retailer and never bothered to follow up/try returning. Yours if you like. Cheers

Luci lantern. Is the smaller emergency model, has white or red light, SOS pattern flash. Just doesn't get used, spent most of it's life on the dashboard. Maybe doesn't last as long as when new, otherwise works fine.

CNOC BUC bag… just pay the postage and it’s your’s! Be warned though, it’s on the small side. It’s 650ml capacity, apparently they used to be 750ml. Too small for my purposes and unused.

Re: Pay It Forward?? Tricounis

Postby stry » Sun 31 Dec, 2023 11:29 am

Tricounis. Blast from the past for those who have used them.

9 x 15mm Tricounis and eleven dedicated staples. Fitted to the instep they are absolutely magic any where one has to put their feet on wet logs. Can also be used around the outside edge of boot soles.

Far too good/nostalgic to be thrown out. $10 postage to anywhere in Aus.

Pictures? For those that haven't heard of them. I'd be happy to take them but I have no leather soles boots left. Yep absolutely magic in wet forest. Or climbing wet wooden ladders

Hi Craig. Do you think they would work with non S2S mats? I have a Nemo long wide, and an Xped regular but mummy shape.
I'd love to try them if you think they would work. I can always pop them back on here if not.

someone has already expressed interest in the regular mat size chair, the large is still not asked for.

to answer your question, I believe so. I think they will fit most pads as long as width matches. Unless you have an exceptionally thick pad, they would seem to work, and square or mummy cut doesnt seem to matter as the instructions have you fold the pad up and insert (hence the caution on those super thick pads). The Nemo seems ok for it.

I would think the large/wide would be the most suitable one for me anyhow. It's the mat I use most these days. I'm keen to give it a go.

**ALL TAKEN THANKYOU**

more on the coffee - dripolator options
(1) the lightest option out there, the GSI Ultralight Java Drip that hangs above your mug - see pic, 11.4g - fits well on a toaks 550 or similar 400ml mug with a rolled edge - new, unused, sorry I ditched the box, bought for overseas travel and never used. refer also https://www.paddypallin.com.au/gsi-ultr ... -drip.html

(2) the Suluk 46 Kapik flat pack titanium dripolator (see pic, 46g), with a filter (you can buy cheapo normal filters and cut to size, super cheap) - fits any cup or mug, new, unused, same, bought for overseas travel and never used. refer also https://suluk46.com/product/kapiktitaniumcoffeedrip/
