I have a classic Bozeman Mountain Works Torsolite Self-Inflating pad. This thing for a long while was the lightest inflatable, insulated pad on the market.
Weight is 260grams (9.17oz).

The material is pretty durable, though, somehow it has a slow leak somewhere. I can't be bothered fixing it for myself and I suffer from TMMS (Too Many Mats Syndrome) and living in a one bedroom unit.

This thing should patch easy when you find the hole using a simple bike tube type patch, or a classic thermarest patch.

These mats go really well with very thin CCF or as part of a compact fast and light set up. Also be a great pad for a child or teenager. The size works well if you use it as part of structure for an UL pack, eg a gossamer gear type pack.

I'd just ask if the postage can be paid ($8.95 anywhere in Aus), or, pick up from me in North Adelaide, as I'm a student nurse at the moment.

An alternative to adhesive patches eg bike tube or Thermarest patches, is to rub a small amount of Silastic over the leak and let it set which doesn't take long if you have only put it on fairly thinly. This works very well on small pricks made by thorns and bindies, it has elasticity and tends to stretch with movement of the fabric and won't let go the way patches tend to. No good for proper holes or tears which need a patch, or split seams which I have never been able to repair successfully.

Just found another YHA style sheet. Very useful if doing the El Camino or any cheap Backpacker style accommodation if you treat them with a deterrent such as Permethrin
This one is Poly/Cotton 80/20 blend and is dark blue and clean, it doesn't have the extra pillow flap that the other one did.
310 grams so small satchel needed.

Contact me if you want it badly enough to cover postage

No-one does PIF for the warm fuzzy feeling but it would be decent to acknowledge the granter of free swag by PM once you get it - also confirms that the package arrived safely.

Hey folks. Given all the great advice I have received in this forum I thought I might offer this little solar panel up for grabs in the pay it forward spirit. You will need to pay postage! It's a Solar 6.5 W panel from FastTech. If you search on this forum you will find a fair bit of discussion about them. This thing weighs about 110g. I got it for the obvious but every time I walk with it I attract a lovely overcast sky. So I am ditching solar in favor of a bigger battery bank. Anyway, first to comment and commit to postage gets it to play with. Cheers! Image

I don't need it, Jo, but I'd encourage anyone who walks in the NT to go for it. These single panels (nothing folding, despite what the box says) will produce plenty of power during the day from the bright NT sky to charge up multiple devices (phone, InReach, torch, etc).

In a rainy spell in NSW, not so much.

I have some gear that may be of interest for people wanting to set up a car camp/base camp.
Or simply for the kids to play with in the back yard
A big cheap dome tent I bought at BCF and have only used twice, complete with lots of spare FG poles. A very sturdy [ read heavy] and a synthetic sleeping bag I don't need.
Also a couple of older tents good for kids that were PIF'd to me by Sambar for the Pretty Valley meet and I no longer have room for in the shed.
FairyDown Assault; a mix of two tents; old inner and newer fly. FairyDown single pole So old it is purple and green
Also an older Eureka Caddis; another PIF that I was going to play with and extend into a 4 pole tunnel but that project is also on hold as it would need new poles.
The Caddis would be a great project for somebody with time on their hands.
Due to the weight these are pick-up here in Geelong and maybe not worth posting.

I'm happy to report that this has arrived, as has my daughter who is the intended user (well, she arrived in May).

Now to hunt for the leak and get it patched.

I will put my hand up for it please if no one else has already. I reckon I can use it. I live on a mountain top over summer in a hut and it would be great to have a little weather station at the hut. My workplace is 200 metres away with its own weather station but 200 metres is a loooong way when the weather sets in. I will send u a pm about postage. Cheers.

This is a longshot, but would anyone like an armband that came with my KTI brand PLB? There's a lanyard too.

Pickup in Coburg (Melbourne) or post at your expense.

Garmin USB cable.
Belongs to an etrex that is lost in the bush.
Regular USB one end, micro USB A (?) on the other end.

Tyvek offcut.
Just over 1.6m x 0.5m so not quite a sleeping footprint but something to play with!

Edit: no longer available

That's a mini-USB A on the other end. Not as common as micro-USB A, but still found on some cameras and other devices.

Hi Lamont

Just PM me a postal address. No cost as it would only be a stamp or two. Want the yellow gloves too?!
