I tried to PM you but wasn't able to (unless I was doing something wrong!). I'm after a 2m x 2.7 (roll width) piece of tyvek to make myself a tent footprint. Could you please advise the process for purchase....

I have to admit that I have been a frequent reader of bushwalk, but never thought to contribute! My brother in the US has recommended tyvek to me for a groundsheet, and i'm excited to create one for my new REI Half Dome 4 tent! It came in the mail the other day, and i'm mega-stoked to take it out for a test run!

Would it be possible to order 5m of tyvek please? I'd like to make a groundsheet, and an internal second floor to help fight against dog claws.

I have used both and much prefer 1443R. It's lighter, much softer and plenty durable so far. I get mine from Into The Wind, it's only $3.50 per yard (but only 60" wide) and shipping is pretty reasonable.

Hey guys, I need some Tyvek in the next two weeks before I head off to Europe. Does anyone know where I can source some lightweight and strong Tyvek from within Australia so if I have to order it online it still arrives in time?

Hi All,

Is anyone still interested in buying some Tyvek Homewrap? I can supply it by the metre in 1.5 or 3 metre widths.

It's great stuff for making ground sheets / tent footprints, flys, etc.
