TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Just in case any Sydneysiders are contemplating a month or two in the bush thisb ebay link is worth looking at

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/vintage-tent ... 20f279534c

If it was Melbourne I'd be bidding for my 2016 trip
It is the strong internal frame makes it worth looking at

Tent City moved from the address stamped on that tent in the late seventies , so that should give an indication of its the minimum age .

Yep My trashed tent was about the same vintage but the frame itself is what I would be bidding for as the Army 11by is Unobtanium and the Chinese cheap copies are not that good

If there was anybody in Sydney willing to pick up for me I would be bidding on this as these frames are hard to find and as the walls are canvas not duck the proofing would have protected the fabric.
My own tent wouldn't have been trashed if I had gone over it with some silicon in solvent and added the extra guylines and strengthened the tieouts a winter tent needs. Even given tha age I think it would be strong enough as a sleeping tent underneath my large frame and a strong fly

Sorry MD I only just saw this. For future reference I'm in Syd and can help if something comes up. I'm upper north (with two young sproglettes in tow) so driving right down south etc would be a no but if you know the location your welcome to PM me and see if its doable
