TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

One for sale nearby
I have heard mixed reports on the use of them
So has anybody here ever bought one or used one that could report on the real life use of them and their effectiveness for melting snow?
Just looking at pictures I can see no advantage unless a second skin was added to make a full skirt but I know full skirts should work very well and I can find some HD aluminium flashing for a trial run
Would you pay $40- tho, as that is the asking price S/H
