TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

As a bit of a fan of Icebreaker t-shirts as a bicycle touring shirt these Terramar Thermawool Half-Zip at Massdrop look interesting as a possible lower priced alternative and/or a colder wear shirt. Approximately AU$64 delivered and 65 folks have taken the drop so far so there seems to be some support for these.

Anyone have experience of them?

Iv'e had the synthertic version for nearly ten years Andrew, bought four around the same time. It's similar 1/2 zip and collared with outer flat seams , thumb cuffs etc.

Quality wize they are great! (besides many walks in that time, I wear them casually) If they were warn out i'd join the drop ;

Just to say, check Sierra Trading Post, they often have clearance stock of this brand.

Nothing on Sierra Trading Post at the moment and the price looks good.
Might have to pull the trigger!
