TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Not really, fine for kids at a camping ground or in the back-yard but way to heavy and fragile [ 6mm FG wands ] for bushwalking.

All due respect to Rays, this is yet another symptom of the discount culture. Make it out that you're saving money or getting a great deal by only providing perceived value back. For a lot of people, the free tent is worthless - you don't need it, won't use it, and if you did/do, it's probably going to live only a short life.

I have one of their tents that is still very cheap by hiking tent standards but it has done pretty well for me, it's heavy and small but it was cheap. It is a lower profile tent than the one in the OP, I don't think I'd take that hiking, those things love to buckle in moderate winds and the last thing you want is a slap to the face from a tent pole.
