TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Wild Country are made by Terra Nova. It looks closely related to the Laser Competition 1. Quite different to an Akto.

It does look like an Akto. As do a few other tents. Thank you for posting, as its good value.

Unfortunately it's not Hilleberg/Ferrari red.

Totally different at the ends. Not much ventilation.

As with most things, the devil is in the details.
I could be wrong but I bet that if one is not into motorbikes a 250cc trailbike from one brand will look like a 250cc from another , the same for cameras, pushbikes , boots , whatever.
The point here is that there are many single hoop end-supported tents and of course they will look somewhat the same yet the exact design does make a difference.

I was at an outdoor show today. Lots of sheep there . I learned that there are several types of Merino including several cross-breeds.
Their owners seemed to be able to tell one from the other, to me they more or less looked the same.
BTW, 15 micron Merino IS very soft...

It looks identical to the Laser Comp I had, which was the most condensation-prone tent I've ever been in.

Yeah, I used mine the other weekend. I do like it because it weighs nothing and packs small, but was reminded in the morning it does have condensation issues. The subject of this thread is definitely a clone of the Laser Comp 1 from what I can see. The Atko is a similar design but has significant differences.

Akto has broader flat topped ends, with vents in them. It needs low-level breezes to work properly but at least has some allowance for ventilation. This thing lacks that.
