Ruck sack water proof overnight storage

Looking for something along the lines of an enclosed rain cover as a pose to one where the back of the pack is left exposed for my 85 litre rucksack, as I recently purchased a bivi sack and it's to small to have the bag inside with me, so I will need to leave it on the ground next to the bivi, but I don't want it getting wet for, rain or dew overnight, I need it to fold down to compact size and also be large enough to fit my 85 litre pac in. Was wondering if anyone knows any good products as I've had trouble finding any myself, any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers

Well I use cheap big bin liner bags for this, $2.50 for 3 at Safeway

I would advise also using a small tarp too, 1500 * 2400 is a reasonable size solo and in LW silnylon not too heavy

I use a lightweight tarp. I pitch it high (just tie it between trees usually), and in rainy weather it keeps my pack dry and also makes entry and exit from the bivvy straightforward during heavy downpours.

I'd go for a lightweight tarp, since you can fold the pack into it, and it will have a great many uses. Otherwise a chunk of Tyvec sized to fit inside the pack cover, so that it protects from the ground, and the cover protects from above. Lightest option I can think of.
