Raised sides are such a good feature. I wish I'd known about the Expeds before I bought my NeoAir Xlite. The NeoAir is wonderful in every other way: it's compact, it's light, and it's supremely comfortable, but I slip off it.
I completely solved the problem by buying a Thermarest Compressible Pillow (the small-sized one is perfect). It compresses nicely in the middle under the weight of my head, and the less-compressed bits at the side stay raised up just enough to stop me losing my place on the mat.
I've never had such a comfortable sleeping setup. I'm just sad that I've now been spoiled by this pillow - it's going to be hard to ever leave behind that 240 grams
