While I like my Tyvek groundsheets, I'm a bit frustrated in trying to clean them well. Bits of vegetation tends to stick to it - looks like static electricity. Picking bits off individually is tedious to say the least. I've used a nail brush to get dried mud off it - which degrades the Tyvek straight away. I've tried a soft cloth with warm water, warm soapy water etc, but that's not very effective, and still degrades it quickly. It gets little fibres working loose, which has a major impact on its water resistance. I end up hanging it in the sun for a few days to kill off any nasties, but I'm sure that degrades the fabric as well. I've gone through a a couple of groundsheets, and would love them to last longer.
Ta for any ideas.
