TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Any user feedback?
I burnt a big hole in my old parka and I need a new LW shell for next week. I thought I'd ask here before driving down to Torquay to try one on

I highly rate it.

I have the standard torrentshell (not parka) and it fits well, tons better than my heavy old macpac jacket and stays much drier. I've never had a high end jacket but for the price I don't think it can be beaten.

There is a really useful review at OUTDOORGEARLAB, just read it carefully for the bits that interest you, if that grabs you, and as a Surfcoast boy it as is great to try one on and once in their system the after sales support has been great- small prob a couple of years ago fixed quickly. How long the Torquay one will last is always a bit of a mystery I don't buy much from them but I am always alone when I venture in every 6 months or so. Just tried on and bought 2 Lighweight CAPS there as mentioned in another post- dry so quick and the LS LARGE over the Tshirt MEDIUM make a great Active system under my rain coat. I am feeling it is better than the Cap 4 alone under the rain coat Active, but I digress...

Well they just opened up a discount shop in Moorabool Street Geelong so I may be lucky and find an XL / XXL in there a little cheaper

What!
You beauty.
Is it like the one in Collingwood where they send last season (non black, this is basically "the policy", black never goes out of fashion as you know) i.e. coloured stuff?
When does it start trading?
Any info -hours, days etc?
Can I nip down this morning?

Hi moondog I have had one for a couple of years I paid $100 from paddy pallin in Ringwood. I'm normally a medium but found the large to be a better fit with layers. I have given it a testing one time in particular near Mount Loch no dramas usual with this sort of jacket kept the rain out but gets sweaty I would buy another no problem.

Somebody beat me to the last XL in the Outlet store and while the M-10 anorack is a far superior garment I didn't think it was viable to spend an extra $300- to save 100 grams; especially with Cecile looking daggers at me for looking in the first place. Some great buys there tho in samples if you are a small femme or a mens medium.

Any use? XL and XXL seem to be in stock. Patagonia will honour any purchase from any vendor.

Jackets tho. I want the anorak; I feel more comfortable in a pullover LW shell. New stock there are plenty of XL and XXL pullovers but if I could have saved $70- it was a no-brainer
I'd be buying the M-10 if I had the spare cash
