TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. Hey guys,
So in the next few weeks Mont will be releasing their new Moondance 2. From what I understand the changes over the current tent are as follows:
Weight - 100g lighter
Floor - Changing from 70d to 40d but still 10,000mm
Floor - Now rectangular and not tapered
Zips - Straight zips on door to provide better entry
Ridge pole - Wider to give more head space
Fly - better drip line around fly
Poles - Go either way, no more up or down
Footprint - Will be rectangular to match new floor plan still 70D and 5,000mm. However this wont be released for a while.
Colour - More mustard/yellow shade

So from what it looks like there have been several upgrades at the expense of a thinner floor.
