For the paddlers amongst us, try before you buy....packrafts to buy & rent

Im obviously completely clueless when it comes to packrafting. I always thought they were a pack that converted into a blow up kayak/canoe. Bit disappointed to learn I need to have a pack as well!

But seriously someone should attach some shoulder straps on these things and make it so you can carry stuff. That way all you would need is a dry bag.

Whilst mine are the older Alpackas, without the extended tail, we have had a huge amount of fun in them over the last 10yrs. They add another wonderful degree of enjoyment to a trip, and they are also extremely comfortable to sleep on (upturned). They also make good camp seats (again, upturned).

I had a quick look at the site, but the rental rates require an “enquire” - any idea how much a day they are?
