TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Aldi merino blend T shirt

A special buy for today.
We went to one Aldi store , there, at about 9:30 ,the queue outside was very long indeed.
So we tried one further up the road (Altona North) and just walked in.
They had toilet paper..
Went around the Special Buy area could not find those T shirts. On the secon pass we spotted some under a pile of puffy jackets.
They are a 50/50 Merino /polyester blend.
Same fit as the full Merino type ( M works for me) , feels more wool like than polyester.
No idea how long they will last but for $20 I thought it was worth a try.
BTW, looks to me that the hoarders have bought enogh so most shelves were full. (same for Coles next door)

Thanks Franco
My Aldi merino (full wool) T shirt is a star performer!
Undergarment at high altitude in Nepal late autumn (down to -20)
or just the T under a goretex jacket in the rain on the Tassie central plateau also in autumn (a few degrees and pretty much wet through)
Great garment
I hope Aldi's China production chain is child labout and slavery free.

Didn't you get the memo? No Snow Gear sale this year.
I also wanted one of those LW polyester fleeces as back yard work wear.
I looked at the winter sale but I found nothing locally that I really needed

They had women's merino 2 or so weeks ago. I'm hopeful that they might bring men's ones in still...

Got the mens waffle thermal top today, I got one last year and I like it ...

Also got the mens waffle thermal legging... I hope it is as good as the top

There maybe some left... good luck if you want them. Both a cotton poly blend.. so not as good if they get damp.
