TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

G'day all,
Just got my belated Chrismas present from my son (he works away) and it is the most fantastic Merino Wool long sleeved thermal top (Snowgum Brand) and I have been testing it during this hot spell and the wicking properties really work .My other main thermal top a Paddy P Polartec 100% polyester has serverd me well for years as my main first layer (and I may add normally rain/snow excluded my only layer) problem was that it did wick but retained the moisture but this one seems to be instant dry.Obviously the jury is out on it being my only Winter layer but watch this space .
I am not advertising but advising that SG has a Sale and my son saved $30:00 on retail norm $99.95 sale price $69.95
and we all like to save a buck eh!!
