Dessert - Chocolate mouse

Chocolate Mousse
-

Ingredients:
2 tbls. cornflour.
2 tbls. milk powder.
2 tsp. sugar.
2 tsp cocoa powder.

Method:
To prepare:
Mix ingredients and place into a sealed bag.

To cook:
1 - Combine mix from bag in a saucepan with 1 cup water.
2 - Bring to boil, stirring continuously.
3 - Reduce heat and simmer for one minute.
4 - Allow to cool and set.

This is OK - nice change from the normal - obviously put together before your walk :)

This looks fantastic. Wish I had some of this chocolate mousse with us last week. We just had custard over K-Times.

I cant claim credit for the recipe

When I say OK - its not up there with the real stuff, but for a craving its ideal

I remember experimenting with "quick" to get other flavours too, with some mixed sucess

I've just had it suggested to me that a similar chocolate desert which may be even easier and possibly tastier, is to use custard powder, making it up almost as normal, except adding cocoa powder and extra sugar (or drinking chocolate, which is usually just cocoa and sugar).

Use less water than what the directions say to make it set quicker and firmer.

(Make it up before dinner so that it will cool and set while cooking/eating dinner).
