My first foray into portable chargers, it's use will be mainly for some longer/colder trips that I have planned.

The advertising gurus sales pitch.....

Shockproof....So i clumsily dropped it from 1.5m numerous times, while looking busy in the back garden.
Coldproof.....stuck it in the freezer for 24hrs, no loss of charge.
Waterproof....dunked it in a Main Range creek for around half an hour. Survived.
Ruggedness....I ran over it in my ute. Thumbs up.

So far so good as a storage device, I'll check out the solar charging/ top up capabilities, later in the week.....
For overnighters/weekends, I'll still use my 3 spare camera batteries(lighter), just have to remember to keep them warm day & night.
