A wonderful shot beardless congrats :)

E.L.B. - Evan Lawrence Broun, my dad's name. This remarkable event happened on the 13th anniversary of his passing. I thought about him a lot. He was a good guy. But yeah Eldon Lightshow Bluff will do :)

Hi SBS. Absolutely stunning. Thanks for sharing the background on the name. Pretty special.

Thanks SBS. For the record I voted for ELB. Brilliant moment and such warmth and texture in the picture. I also liked Layer upon layer of golden light by naturelover.

Wow, on the anniversary of his pasing....looks like he was with you, so special.
I think he must be with you for all your walks as your photos are always so good....I call that an unfair advantage or assistance from above.....could be grounds for disqualification. Was he a photographer?
My mother passed a couple of years ago and I reckon she joins me for the occasional walk but so far hasn't helped me much with my photography :?

Hehe we've turned a beardless's landscape win into a discussion on spirituality :) Sorry beardless! MJD is right those reflections are superb!

Thanks for the compliment tibboh, I'm pleased with my progress as a 'togger although this pic really was a matter of standing in the buttongrass gobsmacked! We had a very blessed 9 days out there, when I get some time I'll put together a report of some kind. And yep, the older I get the more I sense my old man around. Comforting, as I wish he knew the man I'd become. I'm really sorry to hear you lost your mum tibboh, I'd like to say it gets easier as time passes, it doesn't, it just gets different, and no dad was no photographer!!
