Another worthy shot NNW, but what has happened to the Tassie section the last 2 months? Are all the cameras in Tasmania broken except for NNW's? :?

Most of the old Tasmanian hands have moved on, and the newer members seem to be busy doing other things.
Or maybe I'm just a lot more OCD than everyone else . . .

Adding to entries is one excuse to try and get down there once a year.
But the various comps have been a great incentive to get out regularly and vary the walking each month so as to get fresh material.
It is a little ironic as a discussion early on had someone remark that they only ever look at the Tassie photos.

However, all the photo comps have suffered for a while.
But as long as the regulars are happy to keep it up and we don't chew up too much storage on the website...

And September is usually a pretty crap time of year to go bushwalking in Tasmania, anyhow. August is usually good, but was a bit less stable than usual this year.

I thought that was stunning. Well it still is.
I'm not sure I'd have changed my mind if there'd been other options.
It's captivating, got mood, colour, scenic beauty.
Really nice photo NNW
It must have been awesome watching that unfold.

Where is it?

Little way in on the Lake Spicer track, just a late afternoon/evening ramble to loosen up after a long drive. There were other patches of cloud doing similar things closer to the Murchison summit, but this was the best overall shot.

And thanks.
