some seriously good cameras to choose from there.. I've got the RX100 mk1 , always amazes me the photo quaiity for such a small camera...

Yes. I am now looking out for a Panasonic GM5 or more realistically GM1 as a second camera. I was not aware of them before, or rather just how small and good they are.

It's crazy what such a tiny camera is capable of. I think back to the canon G9 and Lumix compacts that I had and can't help but wonder at how far the technology has come in such a short time, you just can't compare the IQ and features of the RX100 with anything else in it's class. It even makes the files from my old 40D look like crap and that was considered a great camera not so long ago...

I like the look of the LX100. A m4/3 sensor in a compact with a reasonably fast lens is going to be hard to beat.
