Does anyone know the state of the face track? Is it possible to walk from Kitchen Hut to the Rangers Hut below Hanson Peak?

Not recent, but it was fine Feb 06 when I walked it (in the opposite direction). My avatar photo is on the Face Track below Weindorfers Tower.

Kind regards,

Thanks John. There was a landslip a few months back, and I'm not sure if it has been reopened. Might want to walk that way on Saturday.

Last I heard was that it was closed due to a big rock fall/landslide the best bet would be to contact the Parks Staff at Cradle
