The Kova Supalite Stove is back again at Massdrop. A little more expensive by the looks this time at ~$57 delivered.

One for the Kovea fans (well maybe ... as always it is recommended you do your research to determine if the pricing is good etc). Once again Massdrop have a drop on a Kovea Supalite Stove at US$45.00. Seems a popular drop so I am guessing the price is good.

Have they fixed the problem with the Supalite not correctly opening up the gas cannister valve after it has been used for a few months/years? I didn't believe all the reports of that issue until mine started playing up and I had to eat cold not-properly-rehydrated food for the rest of the trip (thankfully only one night).

Wasn't a big deal for me as I switched to the Moonwalker and prefer its better stability, so that doing proper cooking is less likely to topple over while stirring. Bit heavier though.

But the Supalite was a great super-light stove while it lasted. Brilliant little beast. I hope the newer ones last longer!
