I'd be looking at a +4 degree quilt with a zip/drawcord footbox.

I'd also prefer a smaller sack to be able to compress the bag as much as possible.

I'm still loving my -8 quilt to bits.

Could you remind me if you're doing any different widths or lengths at this stage? A friend is looking at options for a 9-year-old who'll be doing a lot of alpine walking. I suspect regular would be best anyway, as he'll grow into it. I also wondered if the colours at the start of this thread are still the ones available. Thanks.

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to post an update on my quilts. First of all I'd like to thank everyone for the incredible support over the last 5 years (can't believe it's been that long). Until this year I've been able to keep lead times right around 4 weeks but this year, aside from the first national lockdown, the volume of orders has grown steadily and recently I've been estimating a lead time of around 10 weeks. At the moment I'm a bit behind my estimates for many orders and have recently found out that I'll have to move which is taking up a lot of time and adds more uncertainty. So with that in mind I've decided to pause taking new orders for now and focus on working through my order list. I'm definitely planning on restarting orders once things are more under control and my current expectation is for that to take place early in the new year.

For people who are already in discussion about ordering a quilt I'm happy to continue and take an order (if the lead time is ok for you), otherwise I'll make an announcement when I'm ready to restart taking orders.

Since I haven't posted any pics for a long time here's a pic of a batch of quilts I finished a bit earlier in the year:

Hi, I'm glad to hear you're still enjoying your quilt! For sizing I'm offering short, regular and long lengths in either regular or wide width and I do still have the same colours shown at the start of this thread. When I'm ready to take more orders I'll collate all the information together in a new thread so it'll be easier to find.
