I recently had a great experience with Dan from WT. it wasn’t for a lite skin bag so I can’t comment on the material but the Blackburn he made me and the time he spent answering my questions and working building my pack were amazing. So good to have an Australian pack maker who is weight conscious and willing to work with you to get the product you want.

If you are after a new pack you should really consider WT.

I’ll be posting a quick review of my Blackburn soon.

*I have no affiliation with Wilderness Threadworks at all. I am just a really happy customer. I’ll probably order a Sonder soon as well... oh my wallet.

Cheers

Hows that for timing. I just wrote up a review on the Sonder and think these packs are as good as any of the UL big name packs. True "cottage industry", quality, light-weight, comfortable and tough as.

Must say, I'm impressed with the design. I wouldn't mind a Blackburn (if I had the $$$). It's more than big enough for a long walk with my non-lightweight gear and would cope with smaller loads well.

Thanks for the kind words guys,
I'm really glad to hear your happy with your packs.

Feedback means a lot in this little cottage world, something I need to put some energy into.
Many thanks.
Cheers,
Dan.
