I have spent many nights in the huts of the High Country on and off over the years and if it wasn't for the Kosciuszko Huts Association, very few of these huts would still be standing. I become a member just to make a donation and I'm so glad I did, their newsletters alone are worth the price.
Anyway if you have a spare $50, this years membership is now open, why not become a member and help in rebuilding and maintaining our huts. There's no obligation to help, you can just become a member (donation) or roll up your sleeves, get involved and meet some genuinely nice people. You will be welcome either way

Good suggestion crollsurf, I joined today. I have made good use of these huts over many years, sometimes for shelter but mainly just to enjoy their serenity as I passed by, so $40 is a small repayment.
