I finished the walk a few days ago and we carried way too much water. Expecting that there would be nothing at Cooks. And it was hot days. Arriving at Cooks i found all of that tanks were about half full. Or so it sounded by tapping the outside of them. There has been some rain in the last few days too. So anyone hiking down that way you will be fine for water there.

Nothing at Wineglass and Hazards. And the creeks over the back of Mt Graham were not flowing. Only a few small puddles were left in them.

Thanks for the info, but are you certain there was no tannin stained water at wineglass?

There was very still and tannin stained water at Winglass. Not much but it was there. Not sure i would use it unless you had a good filter. Also the campsite was packed. Tents everywhere as we walked through.

BYO for walking to Wineglass Bay (fill up at Coles Bay) and also the Bay of Fires. If car-based camping I am content with a 15L tank in the car for use.
