Thanks for providing those Phil! Such a powerful and useful app combined with LISTmap.

Just extract the three xml files to the mapsources directory
I updated to v9.6.2 and it no longer seems to recognise the .xml files - it doesn't even show a 'AU' folder in the 'Layers' folder. Does anyone have any tips for me to get this working again? I can see the option to WMS/WMTS but have no idea what the relevant entries would be.
Edit: Figured out how to add the WMTS links accessible via
https://services.thelist.tas.gov.au/arc ... s/Basemaps (previously posted in this thread) then navigating to the relevant link at the top of each page of the map I wanted..

I've upgraded and had no issues, it still recognises my previous mapsource file and gave me all the maps in the (AU) directory

Things have moved on since the original post in this thread.
Here is a link to up-to-date instructions provided by the Tasmanian Government:
https://www.thelist.tas.gov.au/app/cont ... _guide.pdfI used them to successfully get the Android OruxMaps app using the List maps.
Sadly, one is restricted from making off-line versions of the maps though (unlike the 4UMaps I generally use in the app).

Is that restriction a technical restriction of the app (I don't use that app, so a genuine question)? - Which seems unlikely to me. Or a license/agreement restriction of the LIST service? - Which would seem to be at odds with what that PDF includes within its instructions on how to do exactly that with the 'Map Plus' app:

You can download them for offline use, no problems.
Just find the line:
"<downloadable>0</downloadable>"
and change the 0 to a 1.
I always do it before heading out to areas I won't have reception.

Yep, for the app I use (Android OruxMaps), changing the download setting to on (value 1) works fine - not sure why the value in the official .pdf file is set with download off (value 0).
I'll still probably use the built-in (Topo) 4UMaps source for larger areas as the LIST versions (using the 'LIST Topographic Basemap' option) are considerable bigger (and take longer to download).
