How close to the summit of Rats? There's sod-all along the main ridgeline, but quite a few pools and soaks if you don't mind dropping down a bit on the Augusta side.

Thanks guys
I ended up on Rats Castle yesterday. For future reference there are a few soaks and pools just above the last boulder field you climb to get up to the plateau and as per NNW plenty of the same on the Augusta side on the plain where you drop down from the saddle on your way across to the final ridge to the top. How reliable these would be after a dry autumn/winter and hot summer is another question but at the moment there are a good amount of options.
