Last seasons fires - Sentinels

Hi all
Thinking of popping down to the South West one day this weekend to tick of a walk I haven't done before. Wanted to go to the Sentinels, but was wondering if anyone knows the state of the walk since last season's bushfires? i.e. Will it just be a walk through a totally burnt area right to the top of the range, which is of course doable, but kind of lacks the pleasantness of walking through vegetation (even if scrubby). Mt Wedge could be a better alternative maybe...

I was there a few weeks ago. The first hour or so until you come out onto the ridge is very burnt out. However, the final part of the walk along the ridge wasn't affected by fire at all, and remains delightfully overgrown. Having done the climb before and after the fires, it was definitely more enjoyable before, but I thought it was still worth it as the final section along the ridge is fantastic, as are the views from the top of the range.

Thanks for the info and pics issyg. A shame the fire made it that far up the range But still looks worth a walk.

I did Mt Wedge about a fortnight ago, also a great walk (not so affected by the fires) track is a little woolly in places, but nothing major.
