Hutchisons Falls

Postby Mp3robbo » Sun 07 May, 2017 7:33 pm

Hi all,

Just did a walk in the Wellington Range today to Hutchisons Falls (which no one else on the internet has) and I'd like to let everyone know that it is a thing that's possible. The walk was challenging but quite interesting.

There is a bit of bushbashing at the start and quite a lot near the end. With a moderately fit group the walk was 7 hours return. The falls themselves are really cool. Although they would be better with a bigger flow or a nicer sunny day.

I hope the map below explains things well enough.

Rob

Nice ! Never knew they existed and I'm from the valley. I'll add it to the list.
