Postby Overlandman » Mon 16 Oct, 2017 9:08 am

Hope there is a good outcome.

Search crews will spend a third day scouring the Strathblane area in Tasmania's far south for a bushwalker who went missing on Saturday morning.

The 66-year-old man, who suffers from a medical condition, went missing while walking on the Duckhole Lake Track with his wife and dog.

Yes, it's awful.

Bear in mind too that the missing gentleman is the husband of a very active member of the bushwalking community, and on this forum.

Best wishes to all.

She has written up a lovely piece on her blog. Great tribute. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
