Drys Bluff start of track

Postby L_Cham_67 » Tue 09 Jan, 2018 4:55 pm

Bit of a silly question, but is the start of the track up to Drys Bluff easy to spot when driving along the road near Liffey? The Abels book describes a gravel road turnoff, but Google maps street view shows two different gravel turnoffs near each other.

I'm looking at heading up there on Sunday and would appreciate my mind being at ease ;)

Not sure if this pin will work;

Dropped pin
near Liffey TAS 7301

Start of the track is fairly easy to find. Assuming you are travelling from Bracknell direction on C513, the parking area is 5.5km past the old Liffey school house.
Parking area is on left of road immediately after two large poles with 'Oura Oura' engraved.

Track starts over the river up past the house.

Cheers

Just happened to pass by there a couple of weeks ago.

There is plenty of parking by the road. No turn off - on the main road.

Awesome thanks again! That sign didn't appear on the street view (a closer inspection reveals the street view is from 2010).
