Incredible effort. I thought things were looking bad when he had gotten poked in the eye with a branch, broken his second walking pole and was only doing 5kms a day but he managed to overcome adversity and pushed through to the end. Inspirational.

It's been inspiring following the trek - not to emulate (that would be mad) - but to push a little harder, go a little further, a little more often.

I think that sums it up for me. Never want to go up Everest, but love reading about/'watching' people who do. They inspire me to aim for Federation.
When I think I can't keep going on my Tasmanian challenges, I'll remember how vastly more capable the human mind and body are than appear at the time. On 'ya, Louphi! Merci, et félicitations!!!

Actually a tourist type parks pass lasts 56 days so he got pretty good value out of his.

Off topic but any seniors heading for Tassie this summer/autumn can get a FREE parks pass valid to 30/6/2019. Just need a Seniors card.
