camping on Falling Mtn/Castle crag

Can anyone tell me if there is any reasonable camping on or around Falling/Castle crag and if there is any water in that area
I am just contemplating the distance from Massif to Windy fridge and would like to know if there is a possible break point in case of weather etc

I camped there recently. Some good spots on top and between castle crag and falling mountain but they're fairly exposed. It was dry at the time so there was no water but I reckon you'd be lucky to find much even after some rain. I carried enough from the pools in the depression before Mt Massif, however, you'd find some on the west side of the saddle before castle crag in some shallow pools there. You may need to keep an eye out for them though as there is not a well cairned track through there and it is possible you could pass by without seeing them.

From memory, there are also one or two spots on the traverse that would make rough emergency tentsites. Exposed, but workable if your tent can cope. A few pools on the way also.

Massif to Falling, hardest bits are finding the route off Massif and the final boulder scramble up Falling.

I've seen pools of water on the summit of Falling Mountain, and there is some grassy areas that would fit a few tents, it is just very exposed. There is also a tarn in the saddle between Falling and Massif, but not a great deal of tent sites.

There's some pools on the ridge on the way to Falling Mountain - I think mentioned in Chapman notes (or shown as campsites). May also show up on 1:25000 maps?
