Yep, nice work young fella! Cool doing Fedders with your dad, that memory will last a lifetime as the rest slowly fade away...

Do you prefer the Mercury? Did the Examiner get you list of your ten favourite Abels right? It would be interesting to know your reasoning for each of the ten?

Yeah, that was the list I sent them. Although, I did say they had no particular order (and they're listed with numbers...) and that there's equally heaps more I could add to a list of favourites.

Federation Peak - Classic peak, also I went up with my father, making it very special for me :)
Precipitous Bluff - The Southern Ranges was easily one of my favourite walks, and PB is such a classic mountain, too. I also adored all of the descent to Cavern Camp. One I'll revisit many times, I'm sure.
Stacks Bluff - The last one, so it'll always have a special place in my heart. Also, great fun walk! Super rewarding.
Mt Hyperion - I REALLY had a blast going up here, the last push to the summit was just a cracking good time. The view to the back of Ossa was sick.
Eldon Bluff - Pretty iconic mountain that I'd looked at for years and thought it would be cool to go there, and it was.
High Dome - I just really enjoyed this one. It was fun :)
Goulds Sugarloaf - My Opa always wanted to go there, but never made it (died in his early 60s), it also had one of my favourite views.
Mt Anne - Classic! And a classic for a reason. So good!
Mt Arthur - Apparently when I was 2 and a half years old, I walked up here with my older brother and my dad, completely by myself. I can't remember this, but it is a mountain I climb several times each year (I climbed it 5 times while doing the Abels), because it's in my back yard :)
Frenchmans Cap - Again, another classic. I will never tire of the Frenchman.

I don't know if I would have a preference for The Mercury, maybe!
