Bushwalking with dogs in Southern Tas?

Postby Ezmay » Thu 10 Apr, 2008 4:46 pm

Hey Everyone,
I've the other treads regarding walking in national parks etc with dogs. Just wondering about other walks in Southern Tassie where dogs are allowed. I've done most walks on Mt Wellington where you are allowed with dogs and also Pelveratta Falls and Snug Falls. Is there any where else?

Snug Tiers is a pretty big area to go wandering with your dogs.

    1. Wielangta Forest walk (snakes in summer!!!)
    2. Peter Murel Reserve (Huntingfield)
    3. Forshore Walk in Coningham
    4. there are a lot of walks with dogs on Bruny
    5. Tahune State Reserve
    6. From Kingston to Taroona (Alumn Cliffs)
    7. State Reserve north of Mornington.
Courage, toughness, power, determination, assertiveness, talent and strong will power is the stuff little girls are made of.

Not to be confused with Alum Cliffs (no "n") near Mole Creek, which is also a pleasant short walk :) (not sure if dogs are permitted there or not).
