Elvers falls

Postby timburke68 » Fri 05 Aug, 2011 3:58 pm

Wife and i visited Elvers falls on sunday 31st July, It was aquite a walk into there, not overly long but some medium scrub to get through. On the same day we also went to what i have called Garth falls (my mate garth told me where it was) as i can't ascertain what the name of the creek is, this creek has a very small catchment so it would only run after rain, we had light rain so there was not that much water going over it, i intend i going for another look when we have some heavier rain. this falls can be found at -40.995213,144.653211, just a short easy walk off the 4WD track about 1km from Arthur river road. The other fall we went to was on Nelson Bay river right next to the bridge on the road towards Temma from Arthur river, it can be found at these co-ordinates -41.129785,144.687983. I have added photos of these 3 to my waterfall pics on my facebook page here http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set= ... 1099899508, We are going to visit 2 more small local waterfalls in the next couple of days and will put pics of those to the same facebook album.
