The 2017 Iditarod Trail Invitational is underway.
There are two Australian entrants - Troy Szczurkowski is tackling the 1000 mile race on a fatbike. Troy is currently about mid-field
The only other Australian entrant - Grant Maughn is tackling the 350 mile race on foot, and is only a couple of miles off the lead.
