hiking in indonesia

Postby weetbix456 » Fri 17 Dec, 2010 8:33 pm

hey hey
i'm heading over to indonesia for a month at xmas time and wondering if anyone has done much hiking over there and got any detour worthy suggestions?? I'm planning on hitting up East Java, Bali, Lombok, Flores, Sumbawa and maybe West Timor if i get that far, but only things i've got info on so far are either popular touristy volcano walks or "authentic village" tours..any heads up would be great!!

It may fit into your "touristy volcano" category, but Rinjani (Lombok) is highly recommended.
